State parks and lake rides
We're excited to now offer trail rides at state parks and Canyon Lake!!!
These trail rides are not reccomended for beginner riders or kids under 8 years old. They are a longer ride, and there are many different obstacles and difficult terrains that we have to navigate through. There is a $50 deposit required when reserving a ride, and it must be booked at least 2 weeks in advance in order for us to make arrangements to haul horses to the park. If you book a state park ride, you will be responsible for the entry fee in to the park upon arrival.
Pedernales State Park
Pedernales State Park offers over 4 miles of equestrain trails that wind through the scenic property of the park. It offers gorgeous views of the hill country, and many different terrains to ride through. We have the freedom to make this ride as short or as long as we like. There is plenty of trails to ride all day long, or if you're not up for a long ride we can do a 2 hour long one instead.
Hancock Trails at Canyon Lake
The trails at Canyon Lake are mantained by the Army Corps of Engineers and is a beatiful ride along the banks of the lake. There are many different trails that wind around through fields, forest areas and shorelines of the lake. There is even some places to take the horses down to the water. It is a 3-4 hour ride if we do the full loop.
Guadalupe River State Park
Guadalupe River State Park is another gorgeous park in our wonderful state that offers miles of equestrian trails that wind all throughout the park. There are wonderful views and plenty of place that would be great for photo ops!
